Hurricane Irma

September 06, 2017

As everyone is aware, Hurricane Irma ia a powerful storm with a path that is still uncertain. Irma has the potential to cause some heavy rain and wind that may reach our area in the near future.  We have been following its path all week by watching the news and weather channels.

Of course we want to prepare for the worst and “hope” for the best.  All Keystone staff will be on call this week as the storm passes our state.  We have put all our landscapers on notice in the event we will need assistance with downed trees and debris removal.

We have our critical property management files backed up in 3 different locations.  We back up our data daily in the event of any peril.  This is a part of our Disaster Recovery Plan.

If your community experiences any property damage during the storm, please call Keystone at 252-355-8884 and enter extension 25 and leave a message.  Our on-call technician will be paged and we will do our best to contact you as soon as possible.

We will “not” make any attempt to respond to an emergency call during the storm as it may endanger our staff.

We will deal with all issues after the storm has passed and it is safe to dispatch our crews and vendors.

Please keep track of the storm by watching the latest news and listening to the radio, and make any efforts necessary to ensure the safety of you and your families.

We have attached a document produced by NOAA and FEMA called Tropical Cyclones that will help you prepare for the storm.  Click here to access the document.

Thank you very much.
